The CFIA Releases Report on BSE Case

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has released its report on the bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) case from February 2015, the 19th case in Canada. The CFIA found that the most-plausible cause of the BSE case was a small amount of leftover contaminated feed. No part of the beef cow entered the human food or animal feed systems, and no other sick animals were found.
