The Alzheimer's Mystery featuring Jay Ingram

Join Jay Ingram and Alberta Innovates researchers for The Alzheimer's Mystery to learn more about the challenging science behind a growing health crisis. Recent evidence suggests that there are similarities in the ways in which the proteins misfold in prion diseases and how the process happens in more common human neurodegenerative diseases and dementias. The financial burden of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and the demands on Alberta’s healthcare system will increase exponentially with the aging population. This lecture series will feature science communicator Jay Ingram and Alberta Innovates-funded researchers.

All free public lectures start at 7 p.m. with Q&A and refreshments to follow.
